Our young queens got to see Kamala Harris sworn in as Vice-President today. What an incredible feeling. What a moment of hope.
Also watching the youngest inaugural poet Amanda Gorman recite the powerful piece "The Hill we climb" truly made our hearts smile. Zoe was over the moon all day. "My VP looks like me" she said. And so did thousands of girls everywhere.
This matters.
Our girls cannot be what they cannot see. What happened today is bigger than us. It is hope for the next generation. To see what can be. what must be. what will be. Countless sacrifices have brought us here and now young girls everywhere can not only dream, they can be.
This is why representation matters. It's bigger than us all.
We must all do our part to affirm our daughters to live without limit.
