Thank you for your support in our toughest time! Wells Fargo Update

Thank you for your support in our toughest time! Wells Fargo Update

Beautiful Curly Me Family,

We want to say a BIG THANK YOU! to everyone for your outpouring of love and support as we dealt with the awful situation with Wells Fargo. As a small business that manufactures products, every dollar counts, which is why when this happened, we had no choice but to reach out to our community - and you showed up! For every single purchase, donation, words of encouragement and solidarity during this stressful time- we say Thank you! This situation has shown us that our village is strong, and it means the world to us.

Update: Thanks to the power of social media, our case was escalated by someone in our network to the Wells Fargo leadership team in Georgia. The Executives reached out and invited us into a local branch to pick up our funds. Our accounts remain closed and we are moving on.

While we are relieved that this is over, it doesn’t feel right that it had to take someone we know to end this wrongful situation. All small businesses should be treated and supported the same way. We work so hard and our banks are supposed to champion us, not pull the rug from under us. We did nothing wrong, and this should never have happened. It will take all of us using our voices to hold our banks accountable.

We have learned a lot from this experience, and will be sharing more of these in the coming weeks as we ensure that we approach business and our banking relationships very differently.

Thank you for standing with us. We appreciate every single one of you for joining us on our mission to raise the next generation of curly and confident girls that will change the world.

Oh… i am so glad this worked out as quickly as it did. I’m sure it doesn’t feel that way (quickly that is) but some fight for years. I’m not sure how this continues to happen but when we all pull together we can fight 5hese large corporations and make the wrongs, right. I think we all know why it happens. To admit we are still here in 2024 is obscene and I’m sorry.

I am so relieved you got your funds back, but I am astonished that Wells Fargo didnt offer to reinstate your account (not that you would have wanted to stay). The entire situation seems outrageous!

Hi I’m happy to hear you’ll be getting your money. Wells Fargo didn’t want your business – they have a history of mistreating customers. Love your product and its purpose!

I am so glad this worked our for your business. I hope you can join a CU or a better banking organization focused on small businesses to house your funds.

    God bless.
