The Youth Mean Business | YMB Fuel accelerator, a Beautiful Curly Me initiative, was incredible! We are so thrilled to have been able to impact the lives of 9 youthpreneurs (11-17) with a week-long immersive program that included field trips and meetings with senior-level executives, workshops, personalized coaching and $25,0000 in grants!
After an application and interview process, 9 youthpreneurs from all over the country were selected to be part of Cohort 1, in our pilot accelerator program that ran from July 24-28, 2023.
This accelerator was at zero$ cost, all we did was ask them to GROW: Give it their all, (be) Ready to Learn, Open to challenge and Willing to work! And they did just that.

On pitch day, the cohort thought they were pitching for $5k and after we awarded the winner, we surprised everyone else with $2500 checks for their businesses.
We are so excited for the next generation of leaders and the opportunity to do our part to fuel their growth. As a Mother/Daughter team, who have been on this journey since Zoe was 7 years old, it is our greatest honor to be able to pay it forward for other young entrepreneurs.
Special Thank you to our amazing partners - Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, Partnership for Southern Equity and US Bank | Elavon for your support in makin this happen.
This is just the beginning.
