Dollsgiving is one of our favorite moments at Beautiful Curly Me, and this season reminded us exactly why this work matters so much.
This year, together with our community, we gifted 500 dolls to girls across Atlanta. Last Friday, we visited three Atlanta elementary schools and surprised every girl in Pre-K through 3rd grade with a Beautiful Curly Me doll. It was a beautiful time filled with smiles, affirmations, and moments we will never forget.

A Moment That Meant Everything
Seeing their faces light up as they received their dolls, said affirmations, and felt truly seen was a powerful reminder of why Dollsgiving exists.
These dolls are more than gifts.
They are seeds of confidence, representation, and possibility.
We truly believe the seeds planted this season will grow and bloom for years to come, shaping how these girls see themselves, their voices, and their futures.
For young Black girls, representation in toys is powerful. A doll that looks like her can affirm her beauty, support self-love, and encourage positive identity development at a critical age.
Dollsgiving is one of the ways we actively work to build confidence in Black girls by reminding them that they are worthy, capable, and full of potential. It is about showing up early with tools that help girls believe in who they are becoming.
